At Pendley Day Nursery we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum incorporating the seven areas of learning through planned activities and free play.
The three prime areas of learning are underpinned in everything we do:
Personal, Social and Emotional Development,
Communication and Language and
Physical Development
Alongside the implementation of these prime areas we also introduce the specific areas of learning:
Mathematics,
Understanding the World,
Literacy and
Expressive Arts and Design.
You can be sure that whilst at Pendley Day Nursery your child will not only have all their care needs met but will also be in an enabling environment, rich in learning activities. This will support your child’s all-round development whilst ensuring your child is on track with their progress in accordance with the Early Years Frameworks.
The structure of the day allows for a blend of child initiated and adult led activities both indoors and outdoors. For your child this means they can follow their interests whilst developing in line with age appropriate developmental milestones and above.
