The partnership between Pendley Day Nursery and our parents is the most important relationship. Through building positive and trusting relationships with both yourself and your child their time with us will prove to be a great learning and developmental journey. When your child joins Pendley Day Nursery we take time to not only get to know them but you as a family unit.
You can expect daily handovers both at the beginning and end of the day. This gives you the opportunity to let us know any important information that may impact on your child’s day. At the end of the day, a comprehensive handover allows you to share the experiences your child has had whilst also gaining important information around their food intake, sleep times and toileting.
When your child joins the setting, we ask you to complete some ‘All About Me’ paperwork which supports us to build a relationship with your child. Your child will be assigned a key worker who will be responsible for completing their observation learning journal as well as meeting you at regular parent evenings.
You will receive regular reports detailing your child’s achievements as well as their interests in the setting. This enables you to be actively involved with the activities we are implementing as well as supporting a cohesive approach in your child’s development.
